Apple Releasing iPhone OS 3.0 Today
Apple is going to release iPhone 3.0 firmware this Wednesday. iPod Touch users will have to pay $10 for the update. The firmware is already on Apple’s server and you will soon see this on iTunes.
iPhone 3.0 firmware will give you MMS, cut, copy and paste, voice recording, buying and renting movies and TV shows over the air, full system search, tethering, push notifications, peer-to-peer networking, faster Safari browser, landscape virtual keyboard for certain apps, more extensive parental controls and Find My Home for MobileMe.
Additional information is available at Apple’s website and the fun will begin when you sync with iTunes. Give us a shout in the comments with your first impressions of OS 3.0 once it goes live later today.
