David Carradine’s Autopsy at Chulalongkorn Hospital Reports within Two Days
The Chulalongkorn Hospital where celebrity actor David Carradine autospy performed tells a news source that initial autopsy results will be released in two days.
A representative at Chulalongkorn Hospital, where David’s body was taken for an autopsy tells a news source that early reports indicate the star may have taken his own life. Thai newspaper The Nation quotes a police source as saying he was found hanged.
The Kill Bill and Kung Fu star was found dead in the wardrobe of his room at the Swissotel Nai Lert Park last Thursday, with ligatures reportedly around his neck, wrists, and genitals. Deputy Bangkok police chief, Lieutenant-General Amnoy Nimmino, told reporters at a press conference Monday,
“We are still investigating but we will not make any assumptions about his death until we have gathered all the facts.”
It was first reported last week that Carradine, in Bangkok to film the movie Stretch, committed suicide, a claim strongly refuted by his family, who has asked the FBI to take a role in the investigation. Brother Keith Carradine added in a statement released by his attorney, Mark Geragos, that the family is “profoundly disturbed” by the publication of a photo by a Thai newspaper purportedly of Carradine’s hanging, naked body, and has threatened legal action.
