Adam Lambert (born January 29, 1982) is an American actor and singer from Los Angeles, California. He is currently a finalist on the eighth season of American Idol.

Tonight was “rat pack” night on American Idol, in which the contestants were to deliver their takes on Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Frank Sinatra, etc. I’m not sure what Nina Simone has to do with the rat pack or big band, but Adam Lambert’s take on Feeling Good was typically bombastic and theatrical. His version was more Muse than Nina anyway.
