Jon Voight has had a strained relationship with his Hollywood superstar daughter Angelina Jolie, although recent media reports say the pair have repaired their relationship.

Celebrity website Bang Showbiz reported, the veteran actor has now blasted comparisons between the two brunette beauties, insisting Fox is not as good an actor as Angelina Jolie.

Asked if he thought Angelina Jolie was similar to Megan Fox, he said: ‘I don’t think she is, no. She’s one of our finest actresses. She’s gotten to that point in her career.’

Jon Voight told Bang Showbiz, ‘Megan is just starting out, but she has a lot of potential.’

In a barrage of interviews Megan Fox says that she is exactly the opposite of the sexy Mr. And Mrs. Smith starlet: “People compare me to Angelina Jolie, and she’s so serious and stoic. I’m the opposite. I’m not a tigress like Angelina. Of course, people want me to be. But I want to be the contradiction of that. When I do interviews, I say things that I think are hysterical. But because we live in a world of sound bites, you’re not allowed to have a sense of humor.”

Megan Fox also said she had doubts about her own acting skills, unlike Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie.

She told the New York Times newspaper: “I don’t know if I’m talented, I don’t know what I can do or can’t do. I had no skills at all. As a child, I had it in my head that I was supposed to be doing this, and then I did it. But I didn’t know what I was doing.”
