According to the Bitten Bond, The 91st PGA Championship is being played at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota from Thursday August 13 thru Sunday August 16. The 7,674-yard course is the longest in major championship history.
Tiger Woods ended the first day of the PGA Championship at Hazeltine Golf Club in Minnesota leading with 5-under; defending champion Padraig Harrington at 4-under. 8 players are tied for third, including Alvaro Quiros of Spain.
Quiros bounced his second shot onto the green, before Woods and Harrington had walked off on the 11rth hole of the PGA yesterday.
When asked what Woods and Harrington were talking about on the 12th tee, Quiros said, “I heard Harrington say, ‘Good shot.’ ”
